New yarns, batts, and June Art Yarn of the Month

Today I listed some new batts and art yarns in my etsy shop! The art yarns are new skeins of recently-spun colors

Here are direct links -
FunctionArt - Boho - Hand Spun Art Yarn, 78 yards
FunctionArt - Boho - Hand Spun Art Yarn, 74 yards
FunctionArt - Marchengarten - Hand Spun Art Yarn, 69 yards
FunctionArt - Marchengarten - Hand Spun Art Yarn, 62 yards

I also listed two new batts -

Cherry Pie - luxurious merino wool, merino/silk and SoySilk, along with copper and red angelina for sparkle - 1.6 ounces and can be found on etsy here

Amethyst Vine - merino wool, Tussah Silk, bamboo, and a bit of purple angelina for just a little sparkle. 2.6 ounces and can be found on etsy here.

I'm also going to be spinning the JUNE ART YARN for the Yarn-of-the-Month club today - and it will be ready for shipping on Monday! You can still get your FunctionArt Art Yarn of the Month Club subscription on etsy HERE. The June/July/August club will be listed until the end of June and then the next club will be available in August for September/October/November. The club is really a great deal - you get 4 yarns for LESS than the price of 3!

Now, I better get offline and get some spinning done! :)

Finally, some new (art) yarns!

I finally have listed some new art yarns! (also a couple skeins of Ice Princess bamboo, a single ply spun from an optim/soy blend, and a Springtime in Paris bamboo skein) . . . but mostly, I'm so happy to have some new art yarns! I went on an art yarn sorting spree this weekend, where I matched up fibers with novelty and specialty yarns. That process always takes some time, but now that I've got them all sorted they are ready to spin. I managed to spin two colors this weekend - Twilight Garden and That 70s Yarn/Clockwork Orange - and have at least 4 more colors ready to go. Plus, i've got a few other colors tentatively ready, too. I will probably be spinning these most of this week but will also spin a few skeins of bamboo here and there. I should have more Falkland wool for more single plys by mid-week, so I also hope to have some more single plys done by the end of the week. For now, though, here is a mosaic of the newest yarns listed in my etsy shop -

New yarns - Boho again!

I have three new yarns that I listed today, and two skeins are spun from the "Boho" colorway - this is the same colorway used for the "Squish-tastic!" skeins posted a few days ago! Much darker than the previous version I had of this colorway, I spun in novelty and specialty yarns in shades of orange, pink, fuchsia, and teal/peacock. Each skein is slightly different as I ran out of one my favorite yarns to use after the first skein. So, the second skein has a teal eyelash yarn spun in instead. Here are the pictures of the art yarn skeins -

I also listed another bamboo skein in a similar color to "Chocolate Berry Shine" - but this one is much lighter -

And, don't forget - my Spring Has Sprung sale continues all weekend in my etsy shops - Kitty Grrlz Knits and Kitty Grrlz Hand Spun Yarns!

New Yarn & last hours of St Patrick's Day Sale!

My St. Patrick's Day Sale on bamboo continues until Wednesday morning at 6am Central Time! You can find all remaining available skeins here!

I also listed a new Squish-tastic! yarn today - Boho - in shades of pink/fuchsia, orange and teal/peacock. Two skeins, one 70 yards and the other 40 yards-

I'll be listing the matching Navajo 3ply on Wednesday.

Today was my last day of "rest". My hands really were worn out from all the spinning last week, so I took a few days off from the wheel. Tomorrow, I am back to it, though, and will start with some commissions, though I hope to get a couple skeins done to list on etsy, too.
